Donate Your Musical Instruments For Charity! Free Pickup in New York City
Do you have used or new musical instruments you’d like to donate to New York City schoolchildren through our partner charity MusiCan?
If so, we offer free pickup and can provide you with a tax donation receipt from our 501(c)(3) nonprofit. MusiCan places your used or new instruments in the hands of children in New York City public schools in disadvantaged communities.
The children we serve are in need of the following instruments:
Guitar, electric piano and digital piano, bass, drum pads and drums, horns (saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, flute, oboe), and strings (viola, violin, cello, string bass, ukulele). Amplifiers.
We are seeking DJ equipment such as mixers, controllers and interfaces, turntables, vinyl, microphones and stands, speakers. If you have something unusual, like an accordion, just ask. If we can find a home for it with the kids, we will.
We have two public schools in low-income neighborhoods with the desire and space for baby grand or grand pianos.
(At this time we cannot take donations of upright pianos.)
